SELECTIVE POSTEMERGENCE GRASS HERBICIDE FOR TURF AND NONCROPLAND AREAS

Prokoz Turf Max MSMA 6+ is a postemergence grass herbicide used to control weeds, particularly grassy weeds. It is used to control Bahiagrass, Barnyardgrass, chickweed, cocklebur, crabgrass (large & smooth), foxtail, Goosegrass, Johnsongrass, pigweed, nutsedge, punturevine, sandbur, and watergrass to name a few. Some of the sites Prokoz Turf Max 6+ can be applied to include turf, golf courses, grass seed crops, forestry, and non-crop areas. A surfactant has already been added so there is no need to mix a wetting agent to your spray tank, saving you time and money. You will need to apply during warm weather, 80 to 90 degrees, and when weeds are in an active stage of growth to obtain optimum results.

Important

For turf apply when temperatures are between 80 and 90 degrees F. Do not water for at least 24 hours. Have turf cut to 1 1/2 inches and still actively growing.  Bermudagrass, Bluegrass, and Zoysiagrass have shown tolerance to MSMA applications, still some temporary discoloring may occur. Injury may occur if applied to Fescues and Bentgrasses. Do not apply to St. Augustinegrass, Carpetgrass, Centipedegrass, or Dichondra lawns.

Prokoz ProCade 65 WG is a preemergence herbicide containing the active Prodiamine and is used in the control of many annual grasses such as Large & Smooth Crabgrass, Annual Bluegrass, Foxtails, Goosegrass, and Barnyardgrass. It will also control broadleaf weeds such as Common Chickweed, Henbit, Knotweed, Prostate Spurge, and Yellow Woodsorrel. When properly applied, Prokoz ProCade 65 WG will give you season-long control of many of the weeds listed above, keeping your turf weed-free and your customers satisfied.

Prokoz Glyphosate Pro II is a postemergent, systemic herbicide with no soil residual activity. It contains the active glyphosate at the 4 pound per gallon rate plus a surfactant to aid in plant uptake. It gives broad-spectrum control of many annual weeds, perennial weeds, woody brush and trees. Prokoz Glyphosate Pro II moves through the plant from the point of foliage contact to and into the root system giving visible effects on most annuals in 2 – 4 days, with visual effects on most perennials noticeable in about 7 days. Excellent tank mix partner in bareground settings for a quick burn down on emerged weeds listed on label. Plus, it can be used as a spot treatment of unwanted vegetation and the treatment of most undesirable weeds growing in established shrub beds and ornamental plantings.

It is used in the control of crabgrass (smooth and large), chickweed, bullnettle, morningglory, Bahiagrass, Goosegrass, Johnsongrass, Pigweed, nutsedge, puncturevine, and sandbur, plus many more. Some of the sites Prokoz Turf Max MSMA 6.6 can be applied include turfgrass, golf courses, grass seed crops, forestry and non-crop areas. The addition of a suitable surfactant is strongly recommended to achieve optimum results. It is also recommended you mow down turf to a height of 1 1/2 inches and apply to actively growing weeds when temperatures are between 80 and 90 degrees F.
