A SPRAYABLE PLANT GROWTH REGULATOR FOR TURFGRASS.
PROVAIR Plant Growth Regulator contains trinexapac-ethyl, perfect for managing growth, minimizing mowing frequency, and reducing the amount of grass clippings. PROVAIR PGR also improves quality and stress tolerance, and controls the growth and reduces trimming of both warm and cool season turfgrasses along edging.

Important
Always read label thoroughly before application. Failure to follow the directions for use and precautions on the label may result in uneven growth reduction or severely stunted turf.
Application
Apply PROVAIR PGR to well-maintained, quality turfgrass areas, such as residential and commercial lawns, golf courses, sod farms, sports fields, cemeteries, and similar areas. Useful in the management of difficult-to-mow areas, PROVAIR PGR minimizes the need for edging turfgrass along sidewalks, curbs, parking lots, driveways, flowerbeds, fences, sheds, and around posts and trees.
Environmental conditions, management, and cultural practices that affect turf growth and vigor will influence the response of the turf to PROVAIR PGR. Fertility levels, moisture availability, plant vigor, height, and frequency of mowing have been shown to influence the activity of PROVAIR PGR.
Apply PROVAIR PGR to actively growing turf. The rates on the label’s application table provide approximately 50% growth inhibition over a 4-week period with little or no discoloration of turf growing under favorable conditions. If temporary yellowing occurs, apply nitrogen or iron to minimize the effects. Otherwise, this color disappears within approximately one week. Areas treated with PROVAIR PGR should continue to receive regular maintenance practices.
Usage rates may need to be reduced up to 50% for turfgrass grown under conditions of low fertility, compaction, or other factors that stress the turf. If the turf is going into dormancy because of high or low temperatures or lack of moisture, apply PROVAIR PGR at a lower rate. Multiple applications, however, can be made each growing season but do not exceed a total of 7.0 fl. oz. /1,000 square feet per year.
